Font errors when saving and subsequent reopening document

Hi all,

I've got a tiny file (3K rtf) that uses the Courier New font. I've now bought a
font that more resembles the original AD 198x typewriter font (Cubiculum, see
<http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/johan-winge/cubiculum/regular/specs.html>), and if
I do a "Select All" followed by a selection of the Cubiculum font, everything
converts OK. However, once I save & close the document, and then reopen it
again, the "ij" digraph/ligature reverts back to the Courier New one.

Any clues as why this is happening, and more importantly, how I can stop it from
happening? Environment: W7-64 Pro, Word 2002 (10.6866.6870) SP3.

As an aside, when I open the file with LibreOffice Writer (4.1.2.3) everything
works as expected, and the "ij"s appear in Cubiculum!

viz.: use LibreOffice Writer (4.1.2.3) instead :-) . HTH. Cheers, -- tlvp
