Doc2Pdf Losing Links

Hi --

Seems I have a fairly common problem, but googling hasn't shone any light on much in
the way of solutions.

* Using Word 2003/SP2 and Acrobat Professional 7.0.9 on XP/SP2.
* When I print to the Adobe PDF driver, the web hyperlinks are not fully carried
over to the PDF.

They are formatted (blue, no underline) just like in the original DOC, but not
recognized as actual Links by Acrobat. They were created in Word by highlighting
the text, and pressing the Insert HyperLink toolbar button. Very simple stuff.

Anyone have a magic incantation that can be used to get this working again? (Is
there a better place to ask, if not here?)

Thanks... Karl

Not much traffic here, huh? Ah well...

Problem "solved." I installed the PDFWriter add-in, and that successfully exports
the hyperlinks.

WTF?

I was about to suggest the Adobe forums. I see that is no longer needed.

Googling sure seemed to pull up a rash of these situations lately. I thought maybe
Microsoft had fouled the waters with some sort of "security" fix or something. <g>

I always considered that PDFWriter an abomination and a curse, and generally avoided
it to the point of specifically excluding it from installs. But a quick test in a
VM showed that 2003 and a full install of Acrobat did what the partial install
wouldn't. So much for old habits, huh?

Thanks... Karl
